Lia Michele’s Baby Boutique is the result of a dream come true!  For many years I have presented handmade baby gifts to my friends and family members at baby showers or as gifts for their newborns. My handmade gifts have always received rave reviews from the recipients, as well as their guests. Each time my handcrafted baby items were given as gifts, I was highly encouraged to share my work with others. Having a full-time career did not allow me to pursue my dreams of owning a baby boutique.  After the recent birth of my second daughter, (Amalia Michele) I found that my passion for handcrafted, boutique quality baby products was renewed.  I also realized that as a stay-at-home Mom, I finally had the time to devote myself to my passion. 

I have spent countless hours searching for antique and vintage crochet patterns as well as hard to find or out of print sewing patterns.  Many of my products are made from original European patterns designed and distributed in Scotland and Ireland.

These unique patterns have helped me create the unique handcrafted baby items that you will find inside my boutique.  I use only the finest new and vintage materials to achieve the desired affect.

If you are looking for a very unique gift for a baby shower, new baby, baptism or wedding, please take a look at my handcrafted and vintage hanky-bonnets.  These bonnets are adorable and always receive gasps of appreciation.  Each bonnet is unique and you may choose a vintage handkerchief or a handcrafted handkerchief.  Each hankie-bonnet includes assembly instructions and an original poem written by me.  The poem is very sentimental and describes the hankie bonnet concept.  The hanky bonnet is meant to be passed on between multiple generations.

My baby afghans are what started me on this journey.  I demand the softest yarn, the most delightful colors and the most enchanting patterns for my baby blankets.  The final results are delicate, intricate and adorable baby throws that will become treasured keepsakes.
